At the Mass. Maritime Academy, Past Navy League National President William Kelley, Jr., presented the Navy sword to ENS. John Albani Swords were also presented at College of the Holy Cross and Boston University. At M.I.T., different awards are given.

On Thursday April 30 2015, seven checks totaling $500 were presented to crew members of USS CONSTITUTION who had completed college courses with a grade of B or better. Council President Thomas Rudden and Director Bob Gillen participated in this ceremony. Pictured above are (L-R) USS Constitution Command Senior Chief Ryan Gray; Damage Controlman 1st Class James Hough; Damage Controlman 3rd Class Tony Dailey; LCDR Eric Coop, Constitution's Executive Officer; CDR (retired) Robert Gillen, Constitution's 59th commanding officer; Mineman 2nd Class Taylor Crow; Boatswain's Mate 1st Class William Sanchez; and CDR Sean Kearns, Constitution's 73rd commanding officer. Three other recipients, EM1 Rowe; SN Brinna; and SN Corerra; although not present in the picture also completed courses and received a check for their efforts.
